The Venue

Every group has the entire facility to themselves for the duration of their stay – we do not rent out individual rooms.

We are exclusive and affordable with the ability for guests to self cater with a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area.

We offer a safe place where you can come in, unpack and start enjoying your time here, whether it be relaxing in the tranquil surrounds along the River, swimming or kayaking the river or visiting some of the local attractions. We are a function venue in Dunedin (we also border Central Otago), that can cater to all of your needs.

At the end of the day you can relax while toasting marshmallows around the brazier with friends and family

What we offer:

• 8 Cabins sleeping a total of 29. Bedding and towels provided. All cabins overlook the tranquil Shag River
• Spacious and sheltered tent sites alongside the river for camping if you need extra room
• Fully equipped kitchen with two large fridges and two cooktops/ovens. Free tea and coffee provided
• Cosy lounge with TV, DVD player for the kids, a book exchange and a log burner
• Warm welcoming brazier area, perfect for toasting marshmallows in the evening
• BBQ area with 2 large BBQs & a glass door fridge for the chops & wine!
• We also offer clean showers & toilets, laundry facilities and help with meal catering
